Introduction

Since the first edition of the Canton Fair 136 years ago, this event has become one of the most important global trade fairs. The Canton Fair attracts people from all continents and manufacturers from different provinces of China. This event is held annually in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. Thousands of manufacturers, traders, import and export logistics agents and of course printers coming from other countries in search of suppliers participate in this fair. At the 136th Canton Fair, which took place from the 23rd to the 27th of October, our company had the honour to participate and show the participants of the fair the wide range of products we manufacture as well as the additional services we offer. This is a short article in which we will talk about the products we exhibited at the fair, the impressions we gained after talking to different customers as well as our plans for the next year.

Booth L26, Hall 10.3

At the 136th Canton Fair, we were located in hall 10.3 booth L26. Weeks before the start of the fair, our team of designers did an excellent job in designing the booth and offering an excellent plan to optimize the space and guarantee the visibility of the products from any angle.

• Booth L26 Layout, To maximize the optimization of the booth space, the layout of the booth was oriented to take advantage of the lateral spaces of the booth where the different products that were exhibited were placed, while the space in the centre of the booth was used to show the customers the information of the factory, i.e. the production capacity, the manufacturing process, the materials, the services we offer as well as the location of the factory.

• Products, In this edition of the fair our company presented a great variety of products. On the right side of the booth, you can find some of the most requested models of synthetic rattan, as well as different models of synthetic straw and plastic wood.

On the left side, there are three different models of synthetic straw and several rolls of natural rattan and synthetic rattan.

Getting to know our customers up close

International trade allows countries to expand their markets and gain access to goods and services that would otherwise not be available domestically. As a result of international trade, the marketplace becomes more competitive. Despite the globalisation of trade, there are still many barriers that often influence customers’ decision-making when placing an order, such as misinformation, lack of experience and mistrust. In this edition of the Canton Fair, we had the opportunity to meet our customers, their companies and the difficulties they face every time they decide to import a product.

We had the opportunity to meet with furniture manufacturers, designers, architects, distributors and individual users.

One of the products that stood out the most during this fair was the synthetic rattan sheet. A product made from synthetic rattan that takes on a certain shape depending on the weaving technique used to weave the material. Architects, designers and individual users alike marvelled at the elegant appearance of this product. On the other hand, the different models of synthetic thatch we offer were also highlighted.

We offer different warranties, depending on the model or product you select, usually varying from 2, 3 and 5 years.

Of course, we offer free samples and we have all the quality certificates for any model of synthetic rattan we manufacture.

• How long are the rattan rolls?

The size of the rattan rolls varies. Each roll of synthetic rattan is 30 meters long, and the width varies from 45 to 100cm. Each roll of natural rattan is 15 meters long, and the width varies from 45 to 100cm.
